About Live Digital Nomad
I came to the United States for the first time as an exchange student in Valdosta, GA, in 1997. After that, I went back to Brazil and to college for Journalism because I figured I could combine my love for languages and travelling with a career as a foreign correspondent somewhere in Europe.
Life, however, had other plans for me and ended up bringing me back to the US 8 years later. I am not going to lie: Las Vegas was good to me. That’s where I met my wonderful husband, graduated in psychology from UNLV, and worked as a computer programmer for 10 years - all while travelling and exploring all sorts of places both nationally and internationally.
The idea for this blog came about after living as digital nomads with my husband, dog and cat for 4 years. During this time we embarked on many adventures, lived in Europe, visited Asia, hiked and biked some of the most beautiful parks and trails in this country creating amazing memories. But 2020 was not a great year for travel and our hearts were aching for experiences in new places. A new time had come for us though when - while out to what would have been otherwise an uneventful and regular date night dinner - we decided to buy an RV.
I am going to share with you how we got to work from anywhere, everything I wish I knew when we started rving, valuable info about places I have been to, our current travels, and what we did right and wrong along this crazy ride. Most importantly, I am going to show you this life can easily be for you too if the idea rocks your boat. It is not as hard or necessarily as expensive as most people think. I’m going to be adding tons of great information here regularly.
Are you ready? Buckle up, buddy, we are going on an adventure!
